the champion^^

Last February 27, 2009 a Literary Competition was held at the University of Immaculate Conception..the participants of the said event came from the different college departments in the university..the speech choir which is the highlight of the event..so much for the formal intro..(LOL)

I didnt expect that i’ll be participating in a speech choir this time around..i really thought that the moment i graduated from high school such thing will not be in college anymore..but i thought wrong..i was really surprised when our professor announced to the class that we will be having a speech choir event as part of our finals..to make things more surprising, it was only a month away from the scheduled event..haha^^

And so…we did all the preparations for the event..from the piece (which is The Champion), the costumes, the formations, the actions and choreography..due to the inconvenience of hectic schedules and pressures of school works, we only managed to have few practice sessions..(credits to Magsaysay Park and Study Hall..^^)

During the event…all of us were in a mixed emotion..i tried to focus and concentrate (too bad im the conductor so i really need to focus^^)..fortunately we did a great job while performing (not to mention the few lines that some of my classmates forgot)..^^

We bagged the second place garnering a total score of 90.66%..yay! it would be nicer if we got the first place..but then again we are still "The Champion"…
